How To Download and Install A New Wordpress Theme

Published by Tim Romero under Multimedia Tools

I was speaking with William Brighenti on the telephone a few days ago, and he said… because of you, and the wordpress training webinar you hosted, my wife and I were both able to cut past the confusion, and we now both have our own wordpress blogs set up.

Or something like that… I'm paraphrasing!

It always make me feel good to know when people are benefiting from my online training classes. So, if you're read this William… Thanks for the kudos!

William is a CPA and Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. And though I can't speak for him, I believe he'll be rolling out with some online training webinars and video tutorials to teach folks how to use Quickbooks as soon as tax season winds down. If you want to check out his blog, it's at www.cpa-connecticut.com/blog.

Now I'll get to the point of this post… LOL!

While I was on the telephone with William, I suggested that he might want to change his current Worpress Theme to something a little bit more professional looking (for lack of a better term). I'm sure you'll agree that the two default themes included in your initial Wordpress install leave a little to be desired.

SO… I decided to create the following video to show you how to change your Wordpress theme. As you will see, it's pretty simple!

How To Quickly & Easily Add Video To Your Blog or Web Page

Quite some time ago, I hosted a 2 Part Webinar called,"How to Record Your Own MP3 Audios and Flash Videos… PLUS… How to Publish Your Podcasts and FLV Videos to Your New Wordpress Blog."

If you attended my live webinar classes, you learned how to set up your blog, where to get the proper plugins necessary to add audio and video to your blog, how to install them, and how to record flash video (.flv) and MP3 audios for podcasting.

Although the process for adding multimedia to your wordpress blog is not necessarily hard, it can be a little bit time consuming, and maybe even a little scary for those without much technical experience.

The good news is that I've found an easier way for you to add audio and video to your blogs and webpages that does not require you to install or configure any plugins.

Here's a video that show how you can now use Easy Video Player to embed video onto your blog posts and web pages…

Obviously, you can still set up your blog and use the free plugins if you like.  And no matter what method you use to add videos to your blog posts, you'll still have to set up your blog.

I mention this because, even though I will personally be using Easy Video Player to add videos to my own blogs and web pages from now on, all the instructions for setting up your wordpress blog are still the same.

You can view the 2 Part Wordpress Training Webcast Here!

I'll leave it up to you to decide if you want to skip past installing the multimedia plugins or not.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Hope to speak with you soon!
