Public Speaking Tips: “You Talk Too Much” ~ A true story…

“You talk too much, Tim… And you take forever to get to the point”…
That’s what Susan Levin told me after she listened to the Speakers’ Summit overview recording I sent to you on Friday. So I said to her…
“But there’s so much cool information about the upcoming Speakers’ Summit I wanted everyone to know about, and I didn’t want to leave anything out.”
And she said…
“Yeah, but you didn’t even pronounce some of the speakers’ names right.”
“I thought that was pretty funny,” said I.
“You need to learn to communicate your ideas better and get right to the point,” she replied.
So I said…
“How about we do a complimentary webinar together? That way, I can ask you a bunch of questions about the event, and at the same time, our guests (and I) can get some great speaking tips, advice and coaching from you.”
And guess what she said?…
“OK… Let’s do it!”
So we set the date, and I made an information page where you can get all the details and instructions on how you can attend on Wednesday, April 8th at 10 am Pacific/ 12 noon Central or 1 pm Eastern >>> http://announcement.thebigwebinar.com/speaker-summit
By the way… if you missed my original announcement on Friday, and you’d like to see two examples of “How not to speak” (me and Elvira), you can see what I mean at http://thebigwebinar.com/news/summit
I hope to see you at the webinar. And I hope we can meet in person the first week of May!
